Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the Vibio mobile app and website (together, "Vibio", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Vibio you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Vibio.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Vibio.
- You must provide an accurate date of birth. Accounts that do not meet the minimum age, or that we reasonably believe belong to a minor, are removed.
- You must not have been previously banned from Vibio.
- Vibio may not be available in every country, and some features may differ by region.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password and device secure and for all activity under your account.
- You must confirm your email address before you can sign in. Signing in from a new device may require a one-time code we email you.
- One person, one account. Do not impersonate anyone or misrepresent who you are.
- You can delete your account at any time from the profile screen. Deletion is permanent.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, defame, stalk, or abuse other members.
- Post or send sexual content involving minors, non-consensual content, or content that sexualises a minor in any way. This results in an immediate permanent ban and may be reported to authorities.
- Post nudity, sexually explicit material, hate speech, violence, or illegal content.
- Use Vibio for spam, scams, advertising, solicitation, prostitution, or any commercial purpose.
- Share other people's private information, or share another member's photos or messages outside Vibio without their consent.
- Create fake profiles, use bots or automation, scrape the service, or attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or bans.
- Interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or upload malware.
4. Your content
- You keep ownership of the photos, text, and other content you add to Vibio.
- You grant Vibio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, resize, and display your content for the purpose of operating the service (for example, showing your profile to eligible members). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained in backups for a limited period or where we must keep records for legal or safety reasons.
- You confirm you have the right to post the content you add and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
5. Moderation and enforcement
- Profile photos, display names, and bios, and photos in conversations that a member reports, may be checked automatically for disallowed content and queued for human review.
- We may hide content, issue a warning, limit features, suspend, or permanently ban an account that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe puts members at risk. Where we can, we tell you the reason.
- You can report a profile or conversation from within the app. Reports about child safety are prioritised.
- If you believe an enforcement action was a mistake, contact support@vibio.live.
6. Vibio Bucks and purchases
- Vibio Bucks are a virtual, in-app currency. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are not transferable outside your account.
- You can earn Bucks (for example, daily streak rewards) or buy them. Payments for Bucks are processed by Google Play, subject to the Google Play terms. We do not receive your card details.
- Bucks and any boosts bought with them are non-refundable except where a refund is required by law or granted by Google Play. Refund requests go through the Google Play Store.
- Boosts are optional. Vibio can be used without buying anything. Prices, rewards, and the boost catalogue may change.
- Unused Bucks are forfeited if your account is deleted or terminated for a breach of these Terms.
7. Safety
Vibio does not conduct criminal background checks on members and cannot verify that every member is who they claim to be. You are responsible for your own interactions. Take normal precautions when meeting anyone in person: meet in public, tell a friend where you are going, and do not send money to people you have not met.
8. Disclaimers
Vibio is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that you will find a match.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vibio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or the conduct of any other member. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or EUR 50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes and termination
- We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date shows when they last changed, and significant changes will be communicated in the app. Continuing to use Vibio after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
- We may suspend or end the service, or your access to it, at any time, including for a breach of these Terms.
- You may stop using Vibio and delete your account at any time.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law rules, and disputes are subject to the competent courts there, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
